Thai Restaurant Head Chefs
This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Thai Chef Solutions who are operating as an employment business. Our client is looking for a Head Chef to help manage their restaurant kitchens. The applicant must have a 3 years experienced at NVQ Level 3 or above. Main duties include managing the operation of a Thai Kitchen and the preparation and production of Authentic Thai food, preparing Thai home-made sauces, dips, Thai desserts and cooking a variety of complex dishes, ensuring all dishes are prepared cooked and presented to a high standard; creating and developing menu choices; creating and producing new food recipes; monitoring and minimizing food waste. Responsible for rotating stock movement and co-coordinating replacement of stock orders; Motivating and managing the kitchen staff’s performance, recruiting new kitchen staff & preparing staff rotas. Ensuring a high standard of care and maintenance with kitchen auxiliary equipment and finally responsible for setting and agreeing budgets and cost savings; Hygiene Supervision, Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and for the smooth running of the kitchen and the welfare of the customers.
