Small but ambitious Property Management and Letting Agency based in Liverpool seeks the ongoing help of someone who is qualified and experienced in Bookeeping and Accounts. This position may perhaps even suit a retired Accountant .The work is on a self employed basis, so you would need to be able to invoice us for your services. **We are not looking for an Accountancy firm to contact us please so no Canvassers - we require someone to work from our Site as and when required**

We are looking for someone who is experienced with new start up Businesses, preferably with some knowledge of the Property Management or Lettings Sector.

Initially we require someone who can come in from scratch and set up a system of keeping accounts. Working from our base in Liverpool you would need to do whatever is required to quickly get systems into place, and also get us up to date and into the situation with the accounts that we should be in at this stage . We would also require you to guide and advise us on what records we need to keep day to day, ensure we are maximising all available avenues of revenue, plus advise us on what can be claimed as Business costs to help ensure we aren't paying unnecessary tax.

Once this initial work is done, we envisage that we will be likely to need your services less frequently, more on an ad hoc basis. At this stage you will possibly not always need you to work from our base once we are in a position of just keeping things up to date if that suits you better.

Although you wouldn't be required on a daily basis, you would need to ensure things had being followed in the correct way in the sytems you set up, draw to our attention if anything was not being adhered to and help those matters be corrected .

You would also be responsible for liasing with the Accountants to ensure all required information was ready and available at the times it was required by them. However, if you are suitably qualified and experienced enough for us to ditch the Accountant altogether, that could be considered. Our Business is currently growing at a steady pace, so there may be more work available as we continue to grow.

Hours and rates are negotiable. We are flexible regarding hours and times worked, and will negotiate either an hourly rate, a one off fee, or depending on what services you can provide possibly a set amount per month to ensure all aspects of the Accounts, tax returns etc are done.
