Claims Handler - Hire and Repair

Location: Southport / Merseyside
Position: Full Time Permanent position - Excellent Opportunities.
Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm - Monday to Friday
Salary: Dependant on experience
Holidays: 4 Weeks Holiday + Bank Holidays

* To carry out initial contact call to client following a new claims being exported
* Send initial letters and also copy hire agreements to clients
* Ensure that clients vehicles are inspected
* Pro-actively chase inspection results
* To ensure that we are obtaining all services possible,
* To ensure that where possible liability is agreed prior to hire.
* To obtain booking in dates and arrange hires when these have been obtained.
* To ensure that the client is kept up to date with the progression of the claim, and is aware of any delays and why they are happening.
* To ensure that third party insurers have been notified of our involvement and that we are providing services in order to avoid poaching
* Refer any claims that fall outside normal limitations
* Monitor the repairs of the client's vehicle in order to ensure that we do not over hire excessively.
* Advise the client of any limitations on hire length
* Agree Liability were possible on files
* Keep client updated on the progress of the claim.
* Keep the third party insurers advised of any parts delays, or material facts that can affect the running of the claim.


Experience within a motor claims environment would be an advantage. Knowledge of the Credit Hire Industry would also be an advantage but not necessary.
