JOB TITLE:
Stocks and Shares Analyst (3 month contract but opportunity of a lifetime)
SALARY: £1200 per month plus huge bonus only limited by how good you are!
OVERVIEW:
You will be working with and directly for the Managing Director. The role will involve learning the investment criteria from the Managing Director and applying the criterion across worldwide markets including FTSE, DOW JONES, NASDAQ, HKSE and many other leading worldwide stock exchanges. Your main tools will include industry leading Thomson Reuter’s market data software, Microsoft Excel filtering spreadsheets and online research. Your ultimate objective will be to identify the leading investment opportunities across the World for the company to invest in. Full training will be given but you will need to be highly intelligent in order to grasp the concepts of the role. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and is tailor made for someone who is fascinated with the world of Finance/Stocks and Shares trading.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Creating filter screens and screening analysis tools using Thomson Reuter software
Exporting data into Excel and sorting/ranking.
Researching and compiling company financial and structural information.
Searching and examining news reports relating to identified company targets.
Researching and recommending the most efficient and cost effective method of purchasing international shares.
Learning the leverage tools available to maximise performance (CFD’s, Share Options and Spread Betting etc)
Understanding the tax issues related to share trading
Ad hoc tasks.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/ATTRIBUTES:
Brilliant Mathematical capability
Very high Microsoft Excel skills (inc formulas, functions, filtering and formatting)
Immense attention to detail
Enjoys working alone with self motivation
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/ATTRIBUTES:
Maths or Accountancy degree/good qualifications
Advanced Microsoft Excel qualifications
Excellent understanding of online searching
Database management
Stocks and shares knowledge
