We are currently recruiting for a freight clerk to be based at our client's site in Birkenhead.

Due to the nature of this role candidates must have experience in working within a freight establishment - candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:-

Checking in of all cargo and recording data on to the in house system.
Comply with all Health and Safety procedures.
Accurately produce invoices required by accounts department in the agreed time.
Processing of customer and client paperwork.
Accurate release of vehicles in full compliance of company procedures.
Processing of all cash payments.
General administration duties.
Dealing with both internal and external customers in a professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of freight, shipping and cargo systems and be computer literate. Shift based worked with an excellent salary of £17000. Immediate interview and immediate start.
