Nursery Nurse NVQ L3

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working and ambitious individuals to join our friendly and committed team. We are very forward thinking and would value your childcare knowledge and ideas to mould, support, develop and implement our vision. The setting is being developed into a nature kindergarten and forest school within the grounds of private woods for children 0-12yrs. We will be working closely with the wildlife trust and mersey forest.

Importantly you must enjoy working daily for large stretches outdoors, in all weathers and be keen to extend your own knowledge of nature, natural surroundings and the environment.

You will be provided with appropriate warm outdoor working attire.

You should have a minimum childcare NNEB, CACHE NVQ L3 qualification or equivalent and experience within a childcare setting. You must have strong communication skills and IT skills would be a bonus. You will be required to complete an enhanced CRB Disclosure at our cost.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• To ensure every child is nurtured and treated with respect as an individual.
• Working Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• To act a keyperson and communicate with individual families to observe, plan and reflect on planned activities as required by the EYFS.
• To feedback daily about your keychildren, during meetings with individual families and during staff team meetings.
