head chef, daytime hours
Head Chef, LIVERPOOL, Mostly daytime hours!. We are currently recruiting for a fabulous concept in Liverpool. This is a restaurant and up market café which is in a tourist area of the city. The establishment uses fresh local north west produce, free range eggs as a must and organic produce when possible. This establishment has been involved in the capital of culture events.
The role:
As a head chef you will be responsible for the high quality dishes being produced in the kitchen. You will ensure that the reputation of the establishment is maintained and that customers use the facilities on a regular basis. You will run the kitchen, managing the team of chefs and porters, be involved in menu design/concept, sourcing the north west produce and ensuring all the health and safety laws are met.
Experience:
We are recruiting for a Head Chef for this Liverpool Restaurant and Café and we are looking for a head chef with previous experience running a busy kitchen which could be from restaurants, contract catering or hotels. The quality of the food is very high and we therefore are looking for someone with a knowledge of good quality cooking.
Salary:
The salary is £neg (in the £23k-£30k bracket)
THE ADDED BONUS WITH THIS ROLE - Due to the nature of the business, the role will be more daytime hours with very few evenings.
