Our client will provide 24 hour, 'Home from Home' Short Breaks in the heart of the community, enabling children and young people with complex health care needs to achieve positive outcomes.

We are seeking to recruit a Paediatric nurse to join our team of committed, motivated, fun loving, professional staff with a variety of experience and skills, working together and with other partners who will

·Contribute to a Short Breaks 'Menu of Choice' providing support for children, young people and their families
·Work in a Person Centered way, within the Social Model of Disability, in an environment conducive to the social and personal development of the children and young people
·Promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of the children and young people involved
·Ensure appropriate support is provided that will help the children and young people move towards independence, and adulthood

Staff will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary 'Team Around the Child' approach, delivering inclusion and opportunities for raising children's achievements on a rota basis which will involve some night time and weekend work.

£25,566 to £27,127 p.a
37 hours per week

Ensuring that the clinical needs of the children and young people are met, you will have a commitment to Liverpool's vision for Children and Young People who have a disability or complex health care needs. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to take a lead role in a Multi Disciplinary Team promoting the Social Model of Disability. A relevant Paediatric Nursing Qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
