Claims Handler - Hire and Repair

£14,500 - £17,000

You will be handling all aspects of the claim from notification, negotiation and settlement. You will be acting on behalf of blue chip corporate clients and will be liaising with corporate clients, brokers, drivers, insurance companies, engineers, loss adjusters and other solicitors. .
The successful candidate will have a solid grounding in motor insurance claims and to have likely worked for either a car rental firm, accident management company, insurance business or private practice.
Responsibilites:-
* To carry out initial contact call to client following a new claims being exported
* Send initial letters and also copy hire agreements to clients
* Ensure that clients vehicles are inspected
* Pro-actively chase inspection results
* To ensure that where possible liability is agreed prior to hire.
* To obtain booking in dates and arrange hires when these have been obtained.
* To ensure that the client is kept up to date with the progression of the claim, and is aware of any delays and why they are happening.
* Monitor the repairs of the clients vehicle
* Advise the client of any limitations on hire length
* Agree liability were possible on files.

Organisation skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential in order to be considered for this role.
Experience within Motor Claims environment would be a great advantage!
