Graduate Trainee Sales Engineer

Based in Liverpool, R Baker (Electrical) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of electrical equipment; our equipment is distributed worldwide to a wide range of industries such as the glass industry and Royal Navy.

Job Description:
To develop the skills required for the technical sales of our range of industrial Electrical equipment.
Assist the sales department in the preparation of offers, tenders and sales material.
To support as required technical support staff and office staff.
Develop into a key member of the business over a 2-3 year period.

Career Progression
Develop a good knowledge and understanding of our company and the sales process. To effectively become a key person who can select solutions to suit the many varied systems to which may be applied to our products.

Entry into a post graduate qualification in Electrical engineering, sales and marketing or business development dependant on your background. The training programme will allow for continuous development at a pace to suit the individual and the business.

The candidate will be hired in preparation for a senior role within the company.

- A Degree in Electrical Engineering, 2:2 minimum preferred
- Good computer skills are a must
- A passion and drive to fulfil the companies ambition and also their own
- Have an understanding of business and a willing to learn
- Own a car (preferred)
- Must be out going and happy to meet new people
- Good understanding of electrical theory and application
- Good, clear communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationship
