Position: Finance Manager
Location: Ewloe, Flintshire, North Wales
Salary: £40-55K
ROLE:
Our client is now looking to recruit a Finance Manager reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller who will be responsible for providing a Business Partner service to the MD and commercial teams of vertical business areas, in addition to responsibility for management reporting and transactional team management.
You will be the primary contact for the provision of financial analysis and interpretation of trading results within specific business verticals to give insight and add value to the vertical management teams. As such you will need to develop a detailed understanding of the group business model and commercial factors affecting verticals to work with and support the verticals, whilst applying a level of rigour and challenge. The role requires a complete understanding and practical application of key financial processes and best practice in different environments.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) you will be a proven Finance Manager with significant commercial experience post-qualification.
b) Fully qualified accountant, either ACA, CIMA or ACCA.
c) Educated to degree level or equivalent standard.
d) Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced excel skills.
e) Practical knowledge of period end reporting processes and transactional finance areas.
f) Evidence of successfully working in management accounts and transactional teams - (payroll, purchase ledger, banking) ideally gained within FMCG or high-tech industry sectors.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Management of payroll, purchase ledger and banking functions.
b) Implementation of new accounting systems.
c) Experience of working in an `online` environment.
