Most 6 berth vans only have a 4 person dinette. This is an extremely clever layout for a number of reasons. Firstly if there are 6 people then the sixth bed is cleverly hidded as a row of cupboards which open out into an extremely strong single bunk bed. If it is the case that you do not need this sixth bed then of course the cupboards can be used for extra storage. The second brilliant thing about this layout is that the kitchen is extremely spacious. Not only is there the luxury of a Smev cooker (complete with 4 burner hob good sized oven separate grill and pan storage) but there is also a large sink (one that you can actually fit large pots and pans in to The best bit of all though is that there is also a separate work surface for food preparation and plating up the meals. Usually you have to use the table or juggle space elsewhere. The kitchen is also equiped with a good sized fridge and freezer (which works superbly) and again loads of clever cupboard space. The bathroom is a very good size and comes complete with a thetford cassette toilet and hand basin and a really powerful shower plus Loads of storage space for everything such as towels toiletries toilet rolls etc etc. Mechanically the van is abosolutely sound. As mentioned previously it has only done 28500 miles and so has of course not suffered any kind of breakdowns leaks or any other nasties and the bodywork is very good with no major dings or scratches. We are selling the van with a full 12 month Mot certificate so that you can be sure that there are no hidden problems and it is taxed until the end of the year. The engine by the way is a 2.8 Jtd. The floor is covered in a wood effect floor covering but there is also a full set of original carpets that can be placed on top for extra comfort if desired. The windows are also all equiped with a set of silver screens and fly screens. There is also a set of fly screens built into the back door. For the cab there is a full set of internal silver screens that are attached with suckers.There is also a curtain between the cab and the main living area of the van for added warmth privacy. The bunk provides a really big double bed and has a small window at either end which are both also equipped with fly screen and silver screens There is a light fitted into the bunk but for some reason it only works intermittently. The dinette ordinarily consists of a table and seating for 4 people but as previously mentioned this can be extended to easily accomodate 6 people. It also has a set of 2 proper seatbelts on the forward facing seats and a set of 2 lap belts on the backward facing seats.This area converts into the second double bed at night. One of the seats houses a massive cold water storage tank and the other houses a large storage area for whatever you need it for. Opposite the dinette is a long sideways facing bench seat. The hot water heated is housed under a small space under this and the rest is a large storage area which can also be accessed from a locker outside. This locker is protected by 2 locks (and an alarm) but one of the locks is a little awkward to use so we tend not to use that one and just rely on the other one. The bench seat converts to a single bed at night. Above the bench seat is a set of 3 cupboards which can also be very easily opened up into a single bunk bed if needed or used as cupboards. There is also a very large drinks cabinet and a tv cupboard with a power arial fitted. There is a trueman fire fitted that is also connected to a blown air heating system. Above the cooker there is an extractor fan cooker hood fitted that also houses 2 spotlights. In addition to all other cupboard and storage spaces there is also a wardrobe at the back of the van. In 4 of the cupboards at the kitchen end of the van the cupboard door catches broke and so these have been replaced so they are not the original ones. In the roof there are two vent openings that wind open and are protected with fly screens. There is also a ladder fitted for access to the roof and the van is being sold with a fitted bike rack that can hold up to 3 bikes. At the side of the van there is an fiamma f45 awning.The gas cupboard holds 2 x 13kg bottles of propane. The motorhome is fully alarmed (including all outside cupboards and lockers)and has an immobiliser.The cab also has electric windows and mirrors.
