This is a beauty of an amp with a superb, warm tube sound. With its one control for volume it's very easy to operate.From about 2/3 upwards on the volume control the tubes start creating the most amazing, crunchy distortion and despite only 5W of power, the amp can get pretty loud. Easily loud enough for small to mid size gigs and studio use. To top it all off, it looks amazing.

I am selling it together with the Epiphone Valve Junior 1x12" (1x 12" Eminence Lady Luck speaker, 70watts/16ohm, birch plywood construction) but give me a shout if you're only interested in either the head or the cabinet.

The Epiphone Valve Junior Head Amp is perfect for any situation where the sound pressure level has to be low, but the tone perfect, with a 12XA7 preamp valve and a EL84 output valve operating in single-ended Class A circuitry. Single-ended means the amp's output is not referenced to ground, so you get the amps' full voltage swing into the speaker. Class A means the output valve is always turned on for a valve amp's trademark quick response with loads of harmonics when overdriven.

The Epi Valve Junior head version of the Valve Junior amps includes features not found in the combos. DC filaments for both the preamp and power sections, reducing unwanted filament hum. The Epiphone Valve Junior head also has 4, 8, and 16 ohm speaker outputs so you can drive any kind of extension speaker, from a single 8" box to a 4x12" cab.
