The one and only show, Strictly Come Dancing has a new addition to its website. It is a social platform called "play" which is an interactive function on the site where you can log in to the area and watch the show, you can boo, wow and gasp at the routines, you can predict the judges scores, you can rate the outfits hot or not and you also can also do instant chat with others in the play platform whilst the show is live.
This is a new social phenomenon. As a student for my research module I would like to learn more about this. My group and me our looking to carry out audience research, to do this we would need participants to fill out a questionnaire 30mins before the show starts then in the comfort of your own home to log into the Strictly Come Dancing play platform 15mins before the show starts to get used to the function. We would then like you to watch and interact with the show as it inspires you to do so. After the show is over and after you have chosen to leave the platform we would like you to fill in a different questionnaire and to send them both back to us.
