Deskside Support Engineer
Location: Liverpool
Salary: 18.00 - 22.00 GBP / Hour
Job Responsibilities:
* Acts as an effective team player and helpful member of a team, demonstrating personal leadership and initiative.
* Takes responsibility for learning about current products/systems to build own technical knowledge to support business requirements.
* Takes ownership for listening to and understanding the customers problem. Escalates and/or gains support where necessary to resolve or enable resolution in a timely manner.
* Escalates issues as necessary to deliver required service level and meet or exceed customer expectations/SLA.
* Works within a team with some supervision supporting end users with technical queries relating to several products/systems to build technical knowledge to support business requirements.
* Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems esp Win XP/desktop and laptop support.
* Customer facing skills.
* Must be flexible and willing to work overtime. Also to work at other sites when required mainly in Croydon and London and driving licence essential.
