Helpful Information
To locate your Car Stereo serial number for online decoding / unlocking you need to first release the radio from the vehicle dashboard (There is normally no need to unclip any of the stereos wiring). All car radios have the serial number either printed on a label or engraved into the radio this is required for us to provide you with your code.
For the Hyundai and Volvo I need to know the locations of the diodes at the rear of the radio.
The majority of radios dont require a special tool to remove the radio. You will be able to substitute household items such as small screwdrivers or cutting 4 straight parts from a metal coat hanger.
Just insert the screwdriver/coat hanger parts into each of the small hole near to front of the stereo and push them away from the stereo (apply slight outward presure) to release the catchs while pulling the stereo.
If this does not work Halfords sell a special stereo release tool for about £2.99.
