Financial Controller North Wales
Rapidly growing retail business in North Wales looking for a proven Financial Controller. This business has grown rapidly over the last few years and as such requires a high calibre Financial Controller to support the Financial Director in building a robust finance function. This is a challenging position and the successful applicant will progress through the business and given as much responsibility as he/she can cope with.
Key aspects of the role:
- Managing two part qualified management accountants
- Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly financial controls are strictly adhered to - previous experience of IFRS preferred
- Constantly looking to improve financial controls, management reporting, financial/commercial risk
- Provide financial support to profit/cost centre managers - reviewing variances to budget
- Understand key cost drivers to the business in order to identify cost savings
- Develop meaningful MI for senior management by identifying KPIs in line with company strategy
- Budgeting & Forecasting experience across multi site, cash dependant business.
Interested parties should be formally qualified (preferably ACA) with post qualified experience from a corporate environment. SME experience is not suitable for this role, applicants should show change management and strong financial controls experience within medium sized businesses.
