Singer/Rhythm Guitarist
Urgently Required !

We are a busy, hardworking, mature, semi-pro, three-piece band, and we urgently require a male singer probably aged 35 – 50. You will be joining a lead guitarist and bass guitarist. We play classic rock and tasteful pop covers in clubs and pubs throughout the northwest area. We gig almost every Saturday night and additionally, the occasional Friday and Sunday night. Our current repertoire (see list below) reflects our aspirations to give our audiences an opportunity to hear a different set of classic pop and rock covers that stands us apart from run-of the-mill bands on the circuit. Success in this area is reflected by the fact that :

· We are always asked backed and are rebooked
· We always get asked for encores
· We frequently receive comments such as “You’re the best band we’ve seen here in years” etc.

Candidates should understand that we are accomplished musicians, take our performances seriously and have excellent equipment (2.5kw Adlib Audio PA + other essential top-end gear). We play to high quality midi file backing tracks and sing three-part harmonies. It is also important to understand that we are a semi-pro band (we both have daytime jobs) and are totally committed to fulfilling the gigs that we receive from agents across the region. This means that you must have an equally professional attitude towards rehearsals, gig acceptance, travel and gig punctuality and onstage performance.

These are the essential requirements :

· A voice capable of singing up to 25 songs per gig in a number of different styles covering a wide range of artists (all male vocalists)
· Your own transport to and from gigs (expenses will be paid)
· You will be a competent rhythm guitarist (acoustic and/or electric) and have good gear
· Dedication to your art, the band and the gigs
· A sensible attitude towards unloading, setting up and loading the gear
· A good sense of humour and a good all round attitude
