The James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer is looking for self employed fundraisers to collect money from the general public. Self employed fundraisers will be standing in front of the entrances of venues such as Tesco, Asda or Morrisons Supermarkets. Self employed fundraisers will be allocated a James Whale Fund top eg T Shirt, Tabard, Sweatshirt which they must wear at all times. Self employed fundraisers will be allocated a collectors tin and Stickers to provide to customers when they place money in the tin. Self employed fundraisers will not be expected to ask customers for money just to be available if customers want to give them money. Self-Employed Fundraisers must have a courteous manner at all times when dealing with the general public. Self employed fundraisers are not allowed in any way to ask for money from customers, demand or shake the collection tin in front of customers. There is a lot of standing and so you will have the ability to stand for lengthy periods and also cope with all weathers as you will be expected to stand at the front entrance of the store and in some instances there may be no coverage from the weather. You must be clean and presentable. In general they will be honest, trustworthy and reliable. Self employed fundraisers will receive 25% commission of what they collect.
