A Qualified Social Worker is required to join a Children with Disabilities team in Wirral.

Working within the Children with Disabilities team, this Qualified Social Worker will have the following responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload consisting of court work, children on the child protection register, children looked after as well as children in need.
- Knowledge of childcare legislation including the Children Act 1989 and associated guidance and regulations.
- The ability to interview children and families and make assessments and recommendations based on your findings.
- The ability to organise and prioritise caseloads.
- The ability to operate within a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Carrying out Child in Need assessments.

The successful Qualified Social Worker will be GSCC registered, have a current CRB and 2 years post qualification experience.
