Our client is a leading UK Building Society who are looking for a Customer Sales Advisor to work within their Liverpool branch. You will provide a face-to-face banking service within the branch whilst generating sales and referrals to the Branch Manager and other Financial Consultants within your team.

You must:



* Have previous experience of sales lead generation

* Experience of working in a sales through service environment is desirable

* Have good administration & PC skills

* Have fantastic communication skills both written and verbal

* Have the ability to work with limited supervision

* Have excellent attention to detail

 

Your main duties will include:



- Being the first point of contact for customers in the branch in order to deal with and action either a range of general banking/account enquiries/concerns and/or specific service/product enquiries

- Identify where the Society can help the customer

- Pursue potential sales leads

- Contact customers to discuss opportunities to help them and arrange appointments

- Updating customer files

- Liaise with and/or refer calls to other internal departments/external parties where necessary

- Where appropriate - balance cash at end of the day

- Support the branch with cashiering and administrative duties and contribute towards a culture of excellence by giving the best possible service experience to customers This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an enthusiasm for banking and customer service to obtain a role where they can progress and learn within the field.
