A thriving and successful Independent Fostering Agency requires a Team Manager to plan, grow and manage their office located in Cheshire.
The Team Manager will be responsible for leading, training, supporting and developing the Social Workers and the Foster Carers at the Cheshire office. This will include responsibilities for the clients budget and quality assurance provisions, initialising and building on relationships with local authorities, marketing the clients service, developing and maintaining a Fostering Panel as well as supporting and appraising staff.
You will be a Qualified Social Worker possessing Post Graduate Qualification (Degree, DipSW or CQSW) in Social Work and valid GSCC Registration as well as having significant experience of working in a foster care or family placement setting.
Substantial working knowledge of fostering regulations and the National Minimum Standards are important requirements for anybody wishing to successfully apply. Candidates should also ideally possess previous Team Leader or Management experience.

The position is based in the Cheshire area and is easily commutable from Chester, Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead, Liverpool, Southport, Wigan, St Helens Warington, Stockport, Maccelsfield and Crewe.
