Benefits Advice with Benefits Helper
Do you require help with completing benefit application forms?
Do you require Welfare Benefit advice?
Are you worried that you are not claiming the correct benefits?
Do you require help challenging by review, supersession or appealing:
• DLA (Disability Living Allowance)?
• Incapacity Benefit (IB) ?
• Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)?
• Income Support (I.S) ?
• Housing Benefit (HB) or Council Tax Benefit (CTB)?
• Tax Credit decisions?
• Habitual Residence or Right to reside decisions?
People with a low income may qualify for free legal advice through legal aid but then there are people who do not qualify even though affording legal assistance themselves may be very financially straining.
I have worked as a specialist Welfare Benefit Advisor and Case worker since 2005.
I have worked as a citizen’s advocate and have experience of liaising with a wide range of people.
I have had a non-stop record of successful appeals in the work place.
I am aware that it may be difficult for people who cannot receive legal aid afford legal assistance with such matters and am willing to help in my spare time.
I do work as a specialist Welfare Benefit Case worker for the Legal Service Commission (LSC) in my daily life.
The service I am offering is separate to the work I do for the LSC and will be in my spare time.
I charge from £6.00 - £60.00 for my advice. I will be as fair as possible with my charges in relation to the advice that you receive. I am more than happy to discuss this with you.
I provide a written, telephone and email based service, therefore can assist anyone in the UK with welfare benefit matters.
If I decide during your initial contact I cannot help, I will not charge if it takes less than 5 minutes to establish this.
Please note: If you are eligible for legal aid, you should not contact me in the first instance as legal aid may provide you with this service free of charge, however not everyone is eligible for legal aid and some people who are not eligible for legal aid may not be able to afford solicitors or such legal help which can be very expensive…. I hope to provide a service that is fair and of assistance to people.
If at any stage I am no longer able to assist I will try and signpost you where possible.
This is a specialist advice service. I am not a law firm or practising lawyer / solicitor.
Best wishes,
Benefit helper
